Martin & East (Pty) Ltd is one of the oldest Civil Engineering and Construction companies in South Africa. Martin & East is responsible for all bulk earthworks, bulk sewer and water infrastructure, road construction, bridge construction, low-cost housing and the upgrading or maintaining of existing infrastructure, and is supported by the following specialist operating divisions: • Zebra Surfacing - established in 1984, and is responsible for all asphalt surfacing, including specialist ultra-thin asphalt (UTA) and ultra-thin friction courses (UTFC), as well as milling and bitumen stabilized material (BSM) activities and has become a market leader for quality and innovation in road rehabilitation and maintenance. • Plant hire division with its vast fleet of specialized equipment and transport logistics to support all of the Group’s operations as well as the construction market’s plant hire needs. • TT Innovations - established in 2005, is a specialist trenchless technology and technical services contractor, responsible for all trenchless underground service solutions with extensive experience and state-of-the-art equipment. Management intends to maintain the company’s leadership in the market through structured organic growth, which includes its long-established pledge to empower and uplift its employees and associated subcontractors. The company is committed to broad based economic empowerment and is a B-BBEE Level 1 Empowered supplier and contributor.
