The Authority for Transport in Malta (also known as Transport Malta) is the regulatory authority for all modes of transport in Malta, namely:
- Land Transport
- Maritime Transport
- Aviation
The Authority’s mission is to promote and develop the transport sector in Malta by means of proper regulation and by promotion and development of related services, businesses and other interests both locally and internationally.
Transport Malta is composed of the following directorates:
- Integrated Transport Strategy Directorate
- Ports and Yachting Directorate
- Merchant Shipping Directorate
- Roads and Infrastructure Directorate
- Land Transport Directorate
- Civil Aviation Directorate
- Enforcement Directorate
- Corporate Services Directorate
- Information and Communication Technology Directorate
