The Rotterdam based UNIT45 specializes in the sale and lease of 45ft pallet-wide containers in Europe. The company started business in 2002 and is privately owned, the shareholders being mainly investment holding companies.
UNIT45 focuses solely on meeting the container equipment requirements of European shortsea/ intermodal transport operators. UNIT45's forward strategy is based on there being a continuing intermodal shift from road to rail, sea and inland waterways during the next decade and beyond.
The broad based client portfolio includes most of the leading names in the European intermodal market including Containerships, P&O Ferrymasters, ECS-2XL, Eucon, Transfennica, A2B online, Samskip and BG Freight Line.
