A Logum Logística S.A. é a empresa responsável pela construção e operação do Sistema Logístico de Etanol (logística, carga, descarga, movimentação e estocagem, operação de portos e terminais) que envolverá transportes multimodais: dutos, rodovias (caminhões-tanques) e cabotagem (navios). A Logum Logística S.A. foi criada no dia 1º de março de 2011, para ser responsável pela implantação deste abrangente e integrado Sistema Logístico multimodal de transporte e armazenagem de etanol. A nova empresa é o resultado da integração dos projetos de logística de etanol da Uniduto, CentroSul e PMCC. A primeira fase do sistema de dutos da LOGUM entrou em operação em agosto de 2013 com a inauguração do Terminal da Logum em Ribeirão Preto (o maior centro coletor de etanol do País), transferindo combustível de Distribuidoras e Produtores desde Ribeirão Preto até Paulínia através de um poliduto de 207 km de extensão. Posteriormente o segundo trecho de 143 km de extensão entre Uberaba e Ribeirão Preto entrou em operação em abril/15, ampliando ainda mais a área de cobertura do Sistema Logum. Com estes trechos já estamos operando transferências de etanol anidro e hidratado com origens em todos os Estados do Centro Oeste, Minas Gerais e São Paulo, atendendo o mercado consumidor das Regiões de Campinas, Grande São Paulo e Rio de Janeiro, além de oferecer a opção da operação de cabotagem para as Regiões Norte e Nordeste, bem como operações de exportação através do serviço de carregamento de navios no Terminal portuário da Ilha D’água. O projeto, quando concluído, terá uma capacidade instalada suficiente para atender à crescente demanda de transporte de etanol, através de um sistema ambientalmente limpo e sustentável.
