The Level Crossing Removal Project has been established to oversee the removal of 110 level crossings across Melbourne, along with other rail network upgrades projects, including upgrading or constructing train stations, track duplication and train stabling yards.
The project will ensure that the level crossings are removed in a coordinated and efficient manner, and is responsible for all aspects of the project including planning and development, stakeholder engagement, procurement, through to construction and delivery.
