No final de década de 60 e início dos anos 70, já com o nome de G. Silva Transportes Ltda., a empresa participou das obras de alargamento da Avenida Atlântica, em Copacabana, e da construção da primeira linha do Metropolitano da cidade. Com isso, a G.
